Miss the informational meeting and wondering what to do next? Maybe just want more information?
Here’s the slide deck that was presented during the meeting. Give it a look and if you are still interested in joining us or aren’t quite sure and would like to get a taste of Wildcat Composite by joining us for our preseason rider clinics later in October? Send us an email. Please sure to your name, your student(s) name, age, grade, and school. Coach Cort will add you to our TeamSnap roster so that you can stay up to date any announcements including our upcoming schedule. You’ll also receive information for registering your student in the NorCal PitZone (the official registrar for all local mountain bike participants).
Upcoming informational meeting: Sunday Sept 28th, 7:30 pm Join Us on Google Meet
We are a mountain bike club focusing on students in the 6-8th grades in the East Bay Hills of the San Francisco Bay. Our focus is on cross-country mountain biking which puts a premium on fitness and endurance. Our goals are to have fun, challenge ourselves, improve our conditioning and skills, build grit, and be an active member in a community of caring, supportive folks. Founded in 2014, we have roughly 100 students (25-30% girls) and 50 coaches riding 3 times a week between November and April each year. Though many of our riders end up on the podium in local races, we accept and encourage riders who prefer a slower pace. We are a member of the NorCal-NICA league which means that we participate in optional league races and our coaches have background checks, receive safety and skills training, etc. After finishing 8th grade, most of our students go on to ride with the NorCal-NICA teams at our local high schools.
